Protecting your privacy

• UList does not sell your information for profit.
• UList does not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
• UList does not use web site tracking devices for marketing purposes (such as Cookies etc).
• UList does not send unsolicited e-mails for marketing purposes.
• UList offers to anonymize your email to protect you from third party information harvesting tools and reduce spam.
• Be aware, that UList, or people listing on UList, might provide links to third party web-sites, which are likely to have their own privacy policies. Please be advised that UList does not have control over any aspect of these web-sites including, but not limited to, their privacy policies or content. We encourage you read privacy policy of every web-site you visit.

Data collection

• UList collects your email address to be used for new listing confirmation email and for the first-time correspondence from people viewing your listing.
• In case of paid listings, UList collects your contact information for billing purposes; information such as name(s), phone/fax number(s), and address.
• UList does not store your credit card information. Credit card transactions are transmitted to a financial gateway using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), to further protect your privacy.
• If you elect to contact us with a question, comment, or feedback, UList might select to keep your personal information provided in that email.
• Please note that any personal information that you include in the Title or Text areas of you listing will be displayed “as is” once your listing is published. Take care not to include in your listing any personal information that you wish to keep private.
• UList web logs collect standard web log entries for each page served, including your IP address, page URL, and timestamp. Web logs are used to diagnose problems with UList servers, to administer the UList site, and to otherwise provide UList services to you.

Data storage

• All classified listings are stored in UList database, and may be archived after deletion.
• UList web logs and other records are stored indefinitely.
• Although UList makes good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security.

Archiving and display of UList listings by search engines and other sites

Search engines and other sites not affiliated with Ulist, such as archive.org, google.com, and groups.yahoo.com, archive, and might make UList listing available, including resumes

Circumstances in which UList may release information

• UList reserves the right to disclose its users information if required by law, or in good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonable and necessary to aid law enforcement officers and legal processes.
• UList may also choose to disclose information about its users to: enforce UList Terms of Use; respond to claims that any listing or other content violates the rights of third-parties; or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of UList, its users, or the general public.

International Users

By visiting UList website, you agree that any data UList collects in the course of providing you with services might be used for the purposes identified in this document, and acknowledge, that the information we collect might be transmitted outside of your residential jurisdiction. Please note that such data may be stored on servers located in New Zealand. By using UList you consent to such usage and transfer of data.
